Friends of the latty ball association

Currently the park in Latty has one piece of playground equipment. The Friends of the Latty Ball Assoc. will purchase more playground equipment to provide the children of the community with more opportunities to engage in exercise and socialization that contributes to their overall development.

MY102.7 is working to properly equip their station to video record and live stream one Paulding County sporting event through their growing MySports initiative. These games will be accessible on their website for viewers to watch across the country. This will not only allow family and friends to watch their loved ones games but will create a video catalog of Paulding County sports!

Special olympics paulding

With a growing Paulding Pride, Special Olympics Paulding is in need of a bus to transport all of their athletes to their games and meets across the state! With track and field, basketball, cycling and the newest addition, bowling, the Pride is eager to participate in any opportunity that comes their way for their athletes ranging from adult to young children. The bus will provide peace of mind, and many more fun opportunities. 

United Way of Paulding County- Dolly Parton Imagination Library

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is an early literacy program for ages 0-5 years of age. The program provides one monthly book for each enrolled participant. Currently the program includes 436 active children, along with 207 graduated from the program. 

Paulding Soccer Club- Lela McGuire Jeffery Park Fund

The Paulding Soccer Club will start construction of new soccer fields at the Lela McGuire Jeffery Park in the Spring (2019). In addition to the soccer fields, additional baseball diamonds and parking lot have been added to the project. 

Blessings in a Bag Program

Paulding High School National Honors Society started the blessings in a bag as a community service program. Each year NHS packs over 70 bags a week to send home with students who might need extra nutrition over the weekend. Donations of food and/or monetary donations are always welcome. 

Friends of the Black Swamp Nature Center

The Black Swamp Nature Center contains 51 acres of woodland, wetlands, and meadows. The fund was established to provide continuous improvements to the trails and grounds, allowing Paulding County residents to enjoy a nature area that provides for recreation, as well as an educational tool for local students through classroom visits and field days.
